Liaisons¶
This chapter covers the road sections between tests. Liaison mode keeps you on time for the next time control. It is separate from the TCs of a stage. It is a Pro mode: without Pro it runs on your daily Pro fuel (see Pro, Pro fuel and Demo mode). Its ? in the app bar has a Quick guide of its own.
The screens and steps are the same as in a stage rally. Liaisons and the time card explains them. This page lists what is different in a regularity rally.
Liaison mode¶
After the Finish of a test, open the drawer, open the Regularity | TSD discipline and tap Liaison. The screen shows Last TC, Allowed Time, Next TC and the large Time to TC countdown, with Trip 1, Trip 2 and the speed below.

Time to TC rounds up to the second, so it reads 00:00 at the moment the control is due. After that it counts below zero with a minus sign. It uses the Rally Time in the app bar, so the clock you set in chapter 5 must be right here too.
A TC recorded in a test does not appear in Liaison mode. The Quick TC and Next Section button actions work on the stage only. The regularity stage stays where you left it: open Regularity | TSD again to see it.
Simple or Time card¶
Tap Last TC, Allowed Time, Next TC or Time to TC to open the Time controls sheet. Choose Simple or Time card.
- Simple: enter the Last TC and the Allowed Time. The app adds them to get the Next TC. Enter new values for each liaison.
- Time card: enter every control of the day once, as a Fixed time or as an Allowed Time from the previous control. The app moves to the next control by itself.
For a regularity rally, use Time card: the programme gives you the time of every control in advance. If the organiser moves a time, edit that control and set it as a Fixed time. The control keeps its name.
If you switch to an empty time card, it starts from your Simple times: the Last TC becomes TC0 and the Allowed Time gives TC1. The countdown does not change.

The time card is not saved
The app keeps what you enter in Simple and Time card only while it runs. If the app closes or the phone restarts, you must enter it again. Keep the paper time card at hand.
CO times and minute windows¶
In many rallies a time control on a liaison is timed to the minute. A CO (time control) set for 14:01 is clean from 14:01:00 to 14:01:59. Early and late are both penalised.
Enter the minute as the Fixed time (for example 14:01). The countdown reaches 00:00 at 14:01:00 and then runs to -00:59 at the end of the minute. Arrive after it reads 00:00 and before it passes -00:59. If you are early, wait off the road.
The format pages give each country's rules. The Italian CO is one example: Italy, CO and liaisons.
